SOME EXAMPLES OF OUR WORK..................

Triumph Stag

The original Triumph crankshafts were made from mild steel.  When grinding these crankshafts, we have them hardened by nitriding to prevent premature wear.

Daimler V8

In addition to crankshaft hardening, other improvements include:

  • Modification of timing cover to fit neoprene oilseal to prevent oil leaks from front cover
  • Cylinder head modification to fit valve stem seals, preventing oil burning

Jaguar 6 Cylinder

We take particular care in tappet and bucket guide clearance in cylinder heads, thereby reducing the top engine noise common in early model Jags.

Range Rover 4.6

A common problem with these engines arises from coolant leakage into the engine block and ultimately engine failure.   We provide a modification to the engine block by fitting specially designed flange liners that allow the gasket to seal on top of the liner.   This protects against compression leaks and improves overall performance.
